The Mother Is the Heart of the Family
In-home postpartum care for mothers in Marin County
The weeks after birth are sacred, tender, and often overwhelming. You have just done one of the most powerful things a human body can do — and you deserve to be held while you recover.
I come to you, sit at your bedside, cook nourishing food in your kitchen, tend the rhythm of your home, and offer your body and nervous system the care they are asking for.
WHAT I BRING
- ✦Ancestral nourishment — cooked for you✦
- ✦Gentle bodywork & somatic care✦
- ✦Birth story witnessing✦
- ✦Infant feeding, soothing, and early mothering support✦
- ✦Womb care & closing of the bones ceremony✦
- ✦Steady presence so you can simply rest✦
Every visit is shaped by what you need that day
A Different Kind of Postpartum
In many cultures, the weeks after birth are a protected time. Mothers are fed, witnessed, and surrounded by care. Their bodies are tended. Their stories are heard. They are not expected to do anything except recover and fall in love with their baby.
Modern mothers are often expected to navigate this alone.
My work is devoted to restoring that village — one family at a time.
Christianna's postpartum support is truly holistic, working with mind, heart, and body. Her care during those early, rocky weeks helped me process my birth and feel grounded and strong in my body again.
I feel truly held by Christianna. Her hands, presence and attention are deeply nourishing.
Christianna's touch is supreme!
About Christianna,
I am a mother, certified VITA coach, yogi, and an Innate postpartum practitioner. I have devoted my work to the belief that the health of a family begins with the care of the mother.
My approach weaves ancestral wisdom, somatic practice, and deep presence — so that the postpartum window becomes not only a time of recovery, but a foundation for greater intimacy, resilience, and family wellbeing.
I also support the wider family system. My background in conscious relationship work and VITA coaching means I can help partners reconnect, navigate the changes that come with a new baby, and cultivate greater harmony at home.
My philosophy
The postpartum window is a powerful threshold—one that shapes a mother’s wellbeing, a couple’s connection, and the emotional foundation of a child’s life. When this time is held with care, presence, and community, it becomes fertile ground for healing, bonding, and renewal.

LET'S BEGIN
If you are expecting or have recently given birth, I'd love to have a conversation about what kind of support would feel most nourishing during this time.
Many mothers don't know how much they need until they're already underwater. You don't have to wait until then.
The weeks after birth are one of the most vulnerable and formative times in a family’s life.
